Telephone advice
Lasa's advice lines deal with hundreds of welfare rights queries from advice workers every year.
We currently offer two free advice lines, for agencies in London and Wales, but can also provide telephone (and email) support in other areas by arrangment. Please see our rightsnet services page for more information on how we can help.
Greater London advice line
We offer welfare benefits information and advice to advisers within the Greater London area.
The advice line is open on:
- Mondays and Tuesdays (10.30am-12.30pm);
- Thursdays (2.00pm and 4.00pm)

Specialist Support advice line for Wales
Lasa is funded by the Legal Services Commission funding to deliver a national welfare benefits specialist support service for Wales. We offer expert legal advice, mentoring and support to eligible organisations.
To use this service your organisation needs to be based in Wales and hold one of the following:
- The LSC unified contract
- The Specialist Quality Mark
- The General Help Quality Mark
- A General Criminal Law contract (in respect of the categories of mental health public law)
The specialist support advice line is open Monday to Friday (10am-4pm)
