01/09/2011 – Save the date: The Guardian online Q and A on training
Lasa is delighted to announce that its Head of Social Welfare Law Services, Shawn Mach, and its Head of Marketing and Business Development, Zoe Amar, will be two of the expert panellists on The Guardian Voluntary Sector Network's online training Q&A on 6 September from 1-3pm. This is a free online event for charities.
The Q and A will focus on how to support the training needs of charity staff and volunteers, amid budget cuts and pressures on staff resources. Lasa will be sharing tips for best practice based on our many years of experience of providing training to hundreds of charities across the UK. Other panellists will include training experts from the NSPCC, Knowhow Nonprofit, the Directory of Social Change, the Media Trust and Cass Centre for Charity Effectiveness.
This promises to be an essential online event for any charity looking to support their staff training needs, in a cost effective and productive way. Best of all, it is free to participate.
More information will be released a few days beforehand on The Guardian Voluntary Sector Network and via our Twitter stream.
