15/09/2009 – AIMS: Latest version of Lasa’s software now available
The latest version of AIMS just released incorporates a number of new features which will significantly improve the Contact management capabilities of the database.
By building on the already impressive Case management features, the additional functionality will enable groups who work with organisations to communicate more effectively with individuals at those organisations, and to tag those individuals with different "roles", e.g. Chief Executive, Finance Officer, etc.
For instance, if you run a series of forums, or want to write to your membership base, the new en-masse email function enables you to communicate with everyone ascribed that "role" across all the Organisations in the database. The enhanced contact management will help with marketing your services, making sure only the information about the new course or publication is targeted on the right people.
