If you are a manager within a small voluntary organisation and are starting to get to grips with your IT but would now like to make to better use of telephone products and services, then this is the course for you. The course will help you to:
- Assess your voice communication needs now and in the future
- Increase your knowledge about what’s currently available that would be relevant to your organisation
- Save money with telephony and avoid signing up for services that just add to your costs
- Select the right suppliers – and maintain a good relationship with themI
- dentify ongoing sources of support and advice
You don’t need any technical knowledge to attend the course. The course will run from 10.30am to 4.30pm and has been funded by the ICT Hub and will be delivered by the Telephone Helplines Association.

It’s taken less than a month for the great British data loss fiasco - the loss of 25 million child benefit records by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs - to die down. With the data loss now off the front page, the Information Commissioner admitted his office was powerless to prevent similar data loss fiascos, the ex-boss of HMRC got himself a new civil service job, and DWP admitted it lost 40,000 housing benefit claimant records on an unencrypted CD.
