London Regional ICT Champion
We're proud to say that the London ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Champion works at Lasa. The London ICT Champion's job is to work with stakeholders, policy makers and funders to give voice to voluntary sector ICT and to build a co-ordinated ICT strategy for mapping the gaps and proposing solutions to help the voluntary sector make better use of ICT.
How the London ICT Champion can help you
Lasa's London Regional ICT Champion can also help your network or organisation to make better use of ICT in many practical ways:
- Sign-posting to high quality and impartial sources of ICT advice designed specifically for the voluntary sector such as the Lasa Knowledgebase and Suppliers Directory.
- Sharing ICT good practice and news through the ICT Champion blog (and Lasa's Computanews magazine
- Working with LVSC to deliver one day workshops on managing your ICT, how to cost and fund ICT projects, how to use web based tools and making your ICT accessible
- Delivering shorter ICT workshops and presentations to help organisations make better use of ICT and understand how they can apply new technologies to their work
What our clients say
Here's what some of the delegates said about us in a one day ICT session we ran in conjunction with Voluntary Arts England:
"...did a very good job in covering a vast amount of material to satisfy an audience with widely different activities, needs and levels of expertise."
"Your day has certainly given me much food for thought and hopefully lots of ideas as to how I can reach out to the general public."
"I left feeling confident about trying out some new things and happy that I am now armed with enough information to get me researching a variety of resources that I didn't know existed."
"Lasa's ICT Champion is a great resource for the sector - it's helped keep ICT issues on funders' agenda and provided us with high quality and impartial advice whenever we've needed it. The ICT Champion's events and training have always been really useful for helping us to keep up to date and network with others in the field."
